Hi Daniel. I just went to your website a few hours ago after reading this article. That's a shame for that lady in England to copy your work like that and say it's her own. It looks like she just took a xerox copy of your paintings and added her n...

Sharon - your art is absolutely beautiful! I just love the abstract mixing of colors and love the salt like effects on some of your things. Do you use kosher salt to get those large effects? Soooo cool! Thanks for commenting on my work - the fushcia scarf actually sold...wish I could make another one like it, but you know how it goes, hard to duplicate! :) Laurie

i think that's you made me feel soo good today when you responded to my blog. thanks for your attention, i'm going to try magic sizing as a stop-flow i know it sounds nutty but another silk artist told me about it, i'm going to start with color hue dyes which are made by jacquard which i already have, and also i'm going to employ more than one method ink jet printing and silkscreening, i even bought a three tiered veggie steamer so, i'm almost ready.

Silk painters and the art licensing market

I am very curious to know if there are any silk painters out there that have their work licensed on various products. I am very interested in getting my artwork in the licensing market. I have been doing a lot of research and found 2 good places that may help me achieve my dream. SimplyLicensed.com and LicensArt.com are 2 places that I have found on the internet that can help emerging artists get their work licensed. I have been creating a series of tropical paintings on silk and hope to have at… Continue
