- I've been an artist all my life. Have tryed various mediums. Favorites are drawing, painting. Was doing stained glass last couple of years. Then discovered painting on silk. Just want to learn as much as I can.

- Hi Patti...your welcome....and thank you for the compliment..your scarves are also beautiful..your colors are wonderful....no..I have not experimented with soy wax...I mix the two traditonal waxes to do batik...I am here to share and learn. The Silk Painting Network is like a giant Silk Painting Book..with all the great icons in this medium right here to access with questions. I am like you in that I like to experiment ....this is how you will find your way to your own unique ...personality...in silk painting.

For the first time of my life , I saw the picture of this great silk painter, a pro, a fantastic creator, a mentor, Daniel Jean-Baptiste. I discovered also Francine , Christine, Barb... and a lot of my friends that are on Yahoo Silk Painters Group. This presentation (except the frogs) is a plus in the communication that we keep going on.

Regarding putting images on the web in case you have not seen this yet click here for a short tutorial on preparing images and then there is a video on uploading them on this network.
