- About Me:
- I am a professional artist and my medium is painting on silk. I use Dupont dyes and Resistad from New Zealand as my resist. I am a member of The Guild of Silk Painters, Silk Painters International, Surface Design Assoc, American Crafts Council, Vermont Crafts Council, and past member of National Museum of Women in the Arts.
I have up to a dozen galleries that represent my work depending on my state of health at any particular time. I have been battling Advanced Neurological Lyme disease for 8 years but continue to produce and sell my silk paintings and limited edition prints despite the challenges this neurological disease presents in my life.
I also founded the Lyme Awareness Art Project (LAAP) which helps people with Neurological Lyme disease use creativity to express their suffering and to raise awareness about this complex disease.
