Your perspective, composition is alluring, the shading superb (I can almost feel the fluffiness in those sheep), and your colors are so cheerful. What an amazing and talented artist you are - thanks for sharing your beautiful work!
Linda,
You are right. This happens a lot of time to me too. Or my wife don't like a specific painting; I bring it to the show and it is the first one that I sold.
The important thing is: "So if the painting is executed well and professional lookin...
Daniel,
Good! I visit the web site given by Francine and when you click on the illustration, it says ' not found'. I am astonished by this event. This lady copied and also put it on sales on E-Bay... My goodness. I think that you have done the go...
Daniel,
That is what is happening with GREAT MASTER. Too bad but you don't have the choice. I think that people don't realize that there is a copyright in visual art, the same thing than in music or writing... We have to sensibilize the population...
Are you interested in learning more about silk painting?
yes
About Me:
I paint silk since 1978. I am a member of the Board of the SPIN. I am also a member of the Guild of Silk Painters of United Kingdom and a member of D'Art et de Soie. I act as the moderator on the Yahoo Silk Painters' Group. If I can be of any help, it will be my pleasure. To connect silk painters from all around the world in a great get together of sharing and learning is my vocation.
Dear Jean-Louis,
Thank you for your nice comments! You wrote that my exposition looks like your expositions in Quebeck - well, maybe one day I will have an exposition in Quebeck too. . . or you in Estonia. I am sure your art would find a lot of appreciation here ; ))
Hello Jean-Louis,
I am a big fan of your work- they are amazing. Thank you so much for your comments about my art, I am deeply inspired by them. I will have to come check out some of your art next time I am in Montreal, perhaps maybe even take one of your workshops.

Thank you Jean-Louis for your nice comments on my scarves. You are right about framing some silk paintings. It's odd- I paint with oils or acrylics on canvas, and with silk dye on silk but somehow the process of design for each media is completely different for me. I have done a couple of silk wall hangings & I don't feel like they were very successful. They looked like a big scarf hung on the wall rather than a painting. I have to use my "canvas" brain and see if I can apply it to silk.
But your work has inspired me & I am thinking about doing a painting of my family's Swiss farmhouse. If it is successful, I will post in on the Silk Painter Yahoo group as well as here.
Thank you for all the time you devote to teaching, encouraging, researching and helping other silk painters. I very much appreciate your generous spirit!
Carol

There is a question about framing on the main forum. I mentioned you as being in the Silk Worm and about the yahoo group. If you have a minute perhaps you would like to share your answer with this group and invite them also to our yahoo group. I gave a link to SPIN
