Are you interested in learning more about silk painting?
yes
About Me:
I'm a relatively new Silk Painter and have dipped in and out for a while. However, I always come back to it, because I really enjoy it as a medium.
I have a lot to learn about it, but that's nice as I enjoy learning, but I do hope that I can contribute something to this web site.

Hi Caroline, I'm still learning how to put pictures on here, so hopefully by this coming weekend I can figure it out or get my husband to show me how. When I tried it before, an hour later nothing had happened! Thats probably why you can't find any pictures from me!
Hi Caroline. It's nice to meet you. I used the salt technique on this silk pillow. I used a silk pillow cover blank that I purchased from Dharma tradingCo. They have the open side seams with a zipper already sewn in. I just stretched the pillow cover on the frame, added various dye colors and added some salt to it. After that, I steamed it for 3 hours, then sewed up the 3 sides.
Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your kind remark. I would love to see some of your work. Please share some images with us.
I am delighted you are contributing.
It is going down to -15 degrees today. Brrr cold but lovely.
Keep painting.
Warm regards,
Francine
