I got away from using water based Gutta ( Dupont). Reasons: it takes ages to dry and it is quite sticky. I am using now the solvent based gutta (Dupont) which flows more easily and when you paint over it by mistake it does not show. I only use w…
I am hooked on DUPONT. hqrdly use resist but if I have to, I the solvent based gutta. Needs to be removed after steaming with white spirit.

Thanks Alison. Maybe we could meet up one day? Eastbourne is not to far away from Tunbridge Wells! I seem to be the only silk artist in my neck of the woods.

- After having been a stained glass artist and than due to circumstances had to work in Finance for many years, I took up silk painting 2 years ago. I had a very succesfull One Woman Show last year and various other exhibitions. I just love the medium and it's endless possibilities.
