I can't sew, and sometimes I have a design that is too stiff or just looks more like a landscape and it seems it would be appropriate to use as a wall hanging (for ex. the image I'm attaching, "Ribbon Rose" got too heavy with the black resist lines). The tapestry hangers at Dharma are so ornate and stuffy. I just want something smooth, chic, and possibly pick a color ribbon to match to the scarf colors, but don't know how.
Framing places are so expensive, and it seems like this should be such an easy project. Can the wonderful silk painting veterans out here shed some light on this for me?
Thank you so much! Lots of people were drawn to it at my booth last month, but once they touched it, realized how stiff it was.. I guess I'll just have to do a little more research here.. wish I knew how to sew :(
